Why I built this

Nobody told me what I needed to work on. And nobody told most of the leaders I coach either.

Not because people around them didn't notice. They did. But they were managing their own careers, protecting their own relationships, and being diplomatically careful. Honest developmental feedback is rare in most organisations. It travels upward very slowly, arrives diluted, and often doesn't arrive at all.

Your manager is navigating their own pressures. Your peers are competing for the same recognition. Your team tells you what keeps the peace. Nobody, in most cases, has the time, the skill, or the incentive to sit you down and say what you actually need to hear.

The result is that the things quietly holding you back accumulate. A pattern in how you show up under pressure. A communication style that doesn't land the way you intend. Something in how you read a room. And because no one says anything, you don't even know to look.

I spent twenty years coaching senior leaders across three continents. The gap is almost never capability. It is self-awareness. The distance between who you think you are as a leader and how others actually experience you.

I am the founder of CORE Executive Presence, a psychodynamic coaching methodology built on two decades of working with C-suite leaders. It pulls together clinical psychology, neuroscience, systems thinking and Eastern philosophy into something that actually lasts.

My academic home is INSEAD, where I completed an Executive Masters in Coaching and Consulting for Change, specialising in clinical and organisational psychoanalysis. I also coach on INSEAD executive programmes and am proud to call myself an alumna.

Beyond INSEAD, I am a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council (an opt-in invitation), a Forbes Coaches Council member, and part of the World Economic Forum Expert Network. I am also a published researcher and the author of From Within to Win.

I have lived and worked in India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Indonesia, China and Hong Kong. Presence does not mean the same thing in every room. Understanding that gives leaders an edge most never develop.

I built this site because self-awareness should be accessible to everyone, not only those with a coaching budget.
